Tuesday Sundries - January 23

I have grown amaryllis before. This year when I started two before Christmas I had hopes they would grow and be blooming by the holidays. 

One did - sort of - and it was a different color (they were suppose to be the same color)

And the first one was a bit stunted and tried to put up two flower spikes - it was all over the place.

But 'Red' is behaving like she is suppose to. And delighting me with a quartet of vivid red blooms.
