Week in Review - December 28 - January 3
I'm counting the past week as the first week of 2021. And it was a fun and busy one!
The week started with making a cheesecake for Savvy's birthday. I made two actually, one for her and one to take to work. And it was so good - a cannoli cheesecake.
Next, I decided I HAD to get a present to a friend in Raleigh. After all I had it from last Christmas. I asked Texter to go with me as Lady K was still at her dad's. We loaded up early and made a full day of revisiting Cary, Apex and Raleigh.
She was astonished at the new Apex High School building. We stopped and loaded up at La Farm Bakery. Then a stop at Grand Asia Market where we picked up some stuff for Savvy. A stop at Dancing Moon in Raleigh, then Goodberry's as we headed back to Charlotte. And a stop at Smithfields BBQ for my lunches over the next few days.
New Year's Eve, after work, I came home and reset my altar for 2021. I also did a couple of card draws for 2021.
Otherwise this week...
- I set up my Kanban board for Q1
 - I counted all my 'change' jars to see where I am starting the year off. I plan on doing a monthly check-up on my money challenges this year to see how I am progressing on my savings.
 - My writing plans are set. Now I just have to get started.
 - Accepted an offer for another blog tour in March.
 - Signed up for a CSA trial starting in March.
 - Picked up Lady K after she has spent the holidays with her dad.
 - Finally got my hair cut.

This coming week...
- More winter sowing of seeds
 - WRITE on my two days off
 - Getting ahead on blog posts or at least scheduling ideas
 - Menu plan for the week
 - Updating my garden notebook with the seeds I have bought

But for now, it's more coffee and off to work.
