Writing Wednesday - New Cover, More Writing
This November, I am not doing the NaNoWriMo challenge. I am instead doing the Rough Draft Challenge.
Part of that challenge is to get a couple of presentations made for next year and programs I am scheduled to give at our local library.
The bulk of the writing will be resuming Seven Deadly Murders. There is now a twist to the story, basically combining two stories into one. That means there is a dual timeline.
This past week I figured out how I want to approach the story which occurs 30 years earlier. And I have seven scenes which will involve the past which will be written more in the style of a police report. Doing a bit of research on how to write up a report which would be in a closed case file.
Plus I redid my cover. My first cover was crap and I am so in love with the new cover. I have set the above picture as my desktop screen, mainly as a reminder to be writing.
So back to writing. This week will be laying out the plot in detail and making scene cards.
Onward and upward!
