Mandala Monday

As I mentioned yesterday, we are moving back to North Carolina in a year. It was an easy decision to come to when I woke up the next day and it was snowing and below zero. And we still had to go to work and school. Unlike in the South, when the entire state would close down so the one man with a snow shovel could take care of it.

Winter is nature's way of saying
'up yours'.

  2. I'm excited for your move- I hear Charlotte is pretty swanky (and I read a short winter YA romance set in Asheville, so now I think of the entire state as charming). I love snow, but a large part of that is the fact that I live in a part of Washington that gets it so rarely, nobody expects you to come into work or go to school or drive if there's more than 2". I can't even imagine BELOW zero. Coldest I've been was 12 degrees (in Ohio, in December, and there was so much snow that I didn't care). Totally unfair of anyone to expect people to do anything when it's that cold out. That's huddle-by-the-furnace-and-read weather.
