Week in Review - Its Been a Good One!
While the week started out 'slow', my productivity really ramped up by the weekend and I am hoping I can keep riding this wave through November.
Not only did I get the final quilt top of 8 I need as Christmas presents, I actually got one of them completely finished. So 7 more quilts to complete and I am hoping I can get 2 a week done until they are all finished.
But after I finished up the quilt, I decided to knock off a jacket which I had cut out. Once I got it done, and realized how easy it was, I decided to go ahead and take the quilt I had gotten from Goodwill into a jacket for Savvy. So Sunday I spent watching 'Escape to the Country' while sewing this jacket.
Also this week, my Wine Cap mushrooms has started fruiting again. I am now up to a half-gallon jar of dehydrated mushrooms.
To keep riding the wave of 'gettin' things done', this is my list of stuff which I am hoping to check off...
- Finish book and write the book blog tour post
- Clear the stairs of the things which need to make it all the way upstairs
- Take a bag of donations to Goodwill
- Move the rest of Foxy's stuff upstairs
- Finish up one quilt
- Write another chapter in Seven Deadly Murders
- Attend a workshop in Asheville on dividing and repotting house plants
- Check out Foam and Fabric for batting and backing for remaining quilts
But in the meantime, it is a dark and rainy day (at last!). Part of me wishes I could take a few inches of rain away from what Jamaica and Haiti will be getting over the next couple of days. So I think I'll go cuddle up in bed (Slider is telling me I need to) and finish up the book I need to read for the review.
