Positive Focus Sunday - One of Those Days!
Yesterday was one of those days.
In a very good way.
One of those days when to-do's get checked off my list and everything seems to flow right along.
First...
One of the 8 quilts I am making for Christmas presents is completely finished. This one is for my grandson and one I had originally started a decade ago for Lady K. But it is done, done, done! It is so soft and cuddly (and big) I almost want to keep it for myself.
And while that was being finished...
I decided I needed some bread in my life - filled with chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips. And oh, is it so good.
Once the quilt binding had been sewn on, and a despairing look around my bedroom/sewing room, I decided to sew together a jacket I had cut out.
I first talked about it in late August. And it has been cut out and sitting in a bag, ready to go for 2 months now. The pattern is easy and of course I had to complicate it a bit with making cuffs on the sleeves, but other than that, it went together very quickly. I am loving it. Now I want to run errands just so I can wear it outside. Now I want to make more!
So all in all, my Saturday was productive. Two projects off the to-do list, a loaf of really great bread and the desire to get more done today! Like clean up my sewing area so I can start on the next project? I have seven more quilts to finish up.
