Writing Wednesday - Chunky Planners and New Planners
Yes, it's that time of the year!
Both Savvy and I have ordered and received (and not without some trauma with customs) our 2026 Hobonichi orders. We ordered one of each size each - and are already sorting out what we plan on doing with the planners.
For myself, once again my A5 'Cousin' is my main planner. As you can see above, my 2025 planner is looking chunky and I love it! I can't wait until I can 'fatten up' my 2026 planner. In fact, I have already started putting in all my known meeting dates for 2026.
My little 'Weeks' is a slender, throw-in-my-bag, monthly/weekly calendar. I use it when I am out and about, mainly at meetings, to record when plans are being made for future dates.
My A6, which is a monthly/daily planner, and much smaller in size that my main calendar, I plan on using as my daily tarot card draws and a bit of journaling.
To further supplement my journals, I FINALLY broke out my Cricut and have designed some icon stickers. Those icons represent the monthly meetings I have. Much easier than writing in the meeting every month. I have to say, as I get more familiar with using the Cricut, I am loving making my own stickers. Savvy seems to be enjoying the ones I have sent her too.
So 2026 plans are underway. Lindsay and Parker, the two main characters in my novel, are getting along well with trying to discover who is murdering people around them. Now if only they could come and do the dishes!
