Writing Wednesday - What's In The Works?

I had great plans to participate in the Rough Draft Challenge (replacement for NaNoWriMo for me) in November. I wanted to write at least 25,000 words on Seven Deadly Murders

However, on Day 1, early in the morning, I started getting messages from Foxy. And over the next 4 days, it was 3 trips to/from Savannah moving her back home. And then another week to adjust, reorganize, and rest.

Basically, I only managed to write 10,776 words on the novel.

In December I am hoping to get another 25,000 words. This time I am splitting the words between writing posts and on the novel.

Of course, December is also full of 'planning' for 2026. December 7 is 'Plan Your Writing Year'. Then on December 12-13 is 'Your Path Forward' where you plan out where you want to be a year, 2 years, 5 years from now. And then on the 14th of December is the HB90 - a quarterly planning course.

(If interested in any of the courses, check here. Sarra Cannon's Heart Breathings courses are self-paced with some videos, live and taped, workbooks and more. Once you purchase a class, you get lifetime access.)

I want to get another 25,000 in December and hope to get a routine going for writing and all the other things. Plus, over the month of December, I hope to do something interesting with this website.

Anyway...

The 2 new cats are slowly adjusting to their new environment and my two cats and 2 dogs. We are definitely a full house.

Working on getting my planners for 2026 set-up, which is a whole other post. One big thing I am attempting to get control of is having information in one place rather than all over several different notebooks and spaces. You know - like organized.

So it will be a busy December at the computer!
