Week in Review - Thanksgiving, Lady K and Books
The past week was Thanksgiving week. And Lady K's school had the whole week off. So we got her for an extended weekend prior to the actual day. So it was fun. She was camped out in the chair/ottoman beside my desk, so we had a lot of time together. We 'played' with the Cricut and decorated her water bottle and one for her little cousin.
I didn't go overboard cooking since it was for the 3 of us. In fact, both turkey legs and thighs are in the freezer to be eaten at a later date.
While being with Lady K was fantastic, the highlight of the week was going to Book Warehouse in Easley, South Carolina for their November sale. Four (almost 5) hours later and 2 grocery bags packed with books, postcard packs, oracle cards and more I left. It is definitely a place I will be going back to in the future.
And my Subaru hit the 200,000 mile mark. And still going strong. Knock on wood, I haven't had any problems with my 'White Knight' and am hoping for another 200,000 miles!
I am excited about December. Lots of planning and organizing and optimism for 2026 going on. Stay tuned for more!
