Week In Review - June 24 - 30
I was treated to a great sunset on Saturday evening. I have missed the dramatic skies of Montana. After all, they don't call it Big Sky Country for nothing.
It capped off a wonderful day spent with a friend whom I hadn't seen in several years.
Of course, we had to make a trip to see Texter at work and get a tour of all the candy. Saturday afternoon was spent catching up and continuing conversations just like it had only been days, not years since we had seen each other. Hopefully, I will be making a trip to her house soon to help her get some items out of the basement where they have been packed up.
Otherwise this week...
- Chicken Enchiladas and Cherry Cheesecakes were made for the weekend
- 11 books finished off
- 5 posts written
- Seed-to-Feed at the library
- Interview for a library position (fingers crossed it turns out well)
- Worked on Joy Quilt
- Finished up the Half-Square Afghan
While my plans were to put it away for a possible gift to someone, it has been claimed. It's just big enough to cover her up nicely and, after washing it, is so nice and soft.
- A trip to the nearby mall for a bit of exploring of Charlotte. Unfortunately, there isn't a bookstore in it. Otherwise, it would be perfect.
The coming week holds, not only the 4th of July celebrations but...
- Update on my 101 Things (need to take some pictures)
- Trip to the mall on Tuesday for the Kids Bash they are holding
- Finishing up Joy Quilt and selecting projects for July
- Maybe a trip to Cary to help Miss C
And on the 7th...
Which means lots of time in front of the television, so hopefully, a lot of time spent on knitting or cross stitching.
But until then, more coffee and then French toast with blueberries and peaches.
