Bookish Thursday - 2026 Plans

Thursday will remain 'bookish'.

I am still doing book blog tour reviews for WOW-Women on Writing. Plus I want to write more detailed reviews of some of the books I read. 

In fact, I have a HUGE amount of books on my TBR shelf, both physical and e-books. And I would like to get through them this year. Some I would like to read and donate. Others, I know I will keep. But since I have discovered the Book Warehouse and their monthly sales, which is only a little over an hour drive, well, I'm sunk and need more shelf space.

Since there are so many books to try and get through over the next year, I created a bingo card - well, actually 6 bingo cards - in an effort to get through at least part of the TBR backlog. 

Some of the books are ones I have started, but not finished. Others are for a couple of book clubs I am in. But the majority I want to either shelve or donate. I will pick a card and roll a dice to see which book I will be reading. 

Of course, this will not stop me from getting books from the library. Or getting books released by my favorite authors in 2026. Those I will keep. I plan on blacking out the cards - but for every 'bingo' I will allow myself to buy a book.

And, of course, I have started a list of books I am interested in reading in the coming year. Sigh. So many books, so little time.
