Week in Review - July 26 - August 1, 2021

Huzzah!

Temperatures are in the upper 60's this morning!

And supposed to be in the 80's this week. With rain!

Anyway, last week...

HOT and DRY!

In addition, Texter was hired to work with me. She'll start this Thursday. She's excited.

Another 4 quarts and 1 pint of tomatoes canned. And have that much yet again to can this week. I also wrote a letter to Lady K and we had 2 FaceTime calls this week. She's getting ready for school and has been in the other grandparents' pool all summer.

I also got the dry erase board up for Texter/Lady K and me. The little bit of writing I did was basically for a blog tour post. And I got 'social' and attended a library craft class - lava bracelet with essential oils.

On the downside, despite the heat, I mowed the yard. And to cool off I set up my planners for August. After all, I need to be taking notes as Hobonichi is previewing the 2022 planners and I'll have to order September 1! Can't wait!

Basically, all I have done all week has been to come home from work, sit on the couch in the AC and knit while watching TV. I have one repeat (12 rows) left on the first section before I can move onto the second section.

Otherwise this week...

  • Finished 3 books
  • Wrote 4 posts
  • Walked 21.2 miles
  • Ordered a harness and leash for Slider and a waist pack for me so we can do more walks

This coming week...

  • Enjoy the cooler weather
  • Clean up the tomatoes which aren't making it in the heat
  • Set up the first of the flower borders
  • Finish the shawl

But for now, more coffee and off to work.
