Week in Review - September 8 - 14, 2025
Unfortunately the above picture shows how I have been feeling over the past few months. Just a massive pile of chaos. Or overwhelmed. Or buried. But I am easing out of it and all it good.
The week ended with a day of 'rest'!
Yes, after driving 1200 miles in two days, I was so over it all. I needed a day to just zombie out. To just do absolutely nothing except zone out on watching auto towing videos. Don't ask why...but Everything Auto in Gatlinburg is really fun to watch.
But it is worth the 1200 miles of driving to see Lady K in action on the football field. And a bit of reminiscing about high school football games of my youth.
Otherwise, the earlier part of the week was pretty chill. I had a weekend in between the last time I drove 1200 miles (in one day that time). Luckily, now with everyone's schedule I AIN'T driving like that for quite some time.
I did have to have a tire fixed. Or rather replaced. Had picked up a nail and they replaced the tire (thank goodness for warranties!) A zoom meeting on selling herbal products - which was very interesting and eye-opening. Don't think I will be doing that anytime soon - too much work! So don't complain when you pay for herbal products at an event or farmer's market. They have to jump through hoops.
Then before my weekend of driving, I had a quick library event and did a Cricut project for fall. It was fun to see what my never-been-used Cricut can do. I really, really need to break down and spend a few days playing with my Cricut. Stickers maybe?
Anyway...
This coming week will be up-and-down with activity. I have a dermatologist appointment (darn funky old age spots!) and then it is Extension Master Gardener Program and meeting. And Saturday - well, let's just say it will be BUSY!
But today (Monday) I am receiving a priority shipment from Montana! Grass! And not the kind you might be thinking. Sweet Grass, among other plants and seeds. So I will be 'potting' up my 'grass' today!
