Writing Wednesday - I AM Writing!

Thanks to the god of weather, I have had a tad of rain this morning, so, darn it, won't be able to mow today. Or tomorrow, when there is a forecast of not only rain, but storms!

To give an idea of how my writing has been going in March -

While most of the writing has been for posts, I have gone from only 1474 words written in February to 5537 words in March so far. I'm counting that as a HUGE win.

I am crediting one of the reasons for the increase is my change to my work schedule. I am now working 3 days a week -  longer hours, but only 3 days. Which is putting me with at least 3 days in a row off. I also have been participating in writing sprints during the day sponsored by Heart Breathings

And I have plans to participate in Camp NaNo starting in April.

While I am heading toward the dark of the moon on Friday (and an intention manifestation ritual), today, since I can't mow the wet grass (pity), I will be working on a few posts and a lot on Dragon Earth (I need a better title).

Side note - I am really jealous of the fact over the next couple of days Montana has a great opportunity to see the Northern Lights. Pouting here!

Anyway...

On Tuesday, I spent my writing sprint time working on planning out April and my '6 Months 4 Life' plans.

I have meal planned for the week and feel a large weight off my shoulders as I have already made decisions on what I am going to consume. However, last night I was informed by Lady K my grape Outshine popsicles are hers to eat when she comes this week. At least I have 3 other flavors for myself.

But back to the words...

I have about half of Cara's outline to go. She is my prime character. Then I plan to use Tarot for Writers to flesh out my main characters. In the back of my mind I have actors who I envision for them, which I might reveal later, but would like to go through the process for them to really solidify them in my mind.

Plus, since I am going from a trilogy idea of the book a'la Nora Roberts to one large book, I have to take the three outlines and twine them together into one story. This means going from three books about 300-400 pages long to one big book of about 900 pages. Who do I think I am? Brandon Sanderson?

But I am feeling more positive these days. The uptick in word count is a sure sign of mental improvement.

Anyway...

Stay tuned. I think I may share parts of the book in the post as I go along.
