Bookish Thursday - January Recap
While the weather outside has been so up-and-down, I have been planning my gardening and doing some garden reading. Both Charles Dowding and Gary Pilarchik are people I follow on YouTube for gardening 'inspiration'.
I haven't only been reading gardening books in January. In all, I have finished 12 books in January for a total of 3645 pages.
However, I haven't set up a TBR stack for February. I am going with a 'mood' reading plan. And what has come in from the library. There is only one book I HAVE to read in February and that one is short and for a blog tour in a couple of weeks.
For January, I also had a bit of a book haul time.
In addition to the gardening books, these are books I hauled in January. And for February, I know of at least 8 books coming, 4 from subscription boxes, two I won and two are pre-orders.
I did have an idea of making February a no-TV month and powering through books to get my TBR shelf reduced. But it is the Winter Olympics in February! Which means a lot of time on the couch with a needlework, knitting or crocheting project in hand, watching the Olympics. So it will be interesting to see if I can get double digits in books read again this month.
