Week in Review - May 23 - 29, 2022
Yeah, it's been a week!
Good news is I did get two more rows created in the garden. And with finally mowing the yard, one of the new rows has a thick layer of grass clippings on it for mulch. There is still one more row to 'create' and some weed eating to be done.
I started going through the triple digit amount of tomatoes and removing suckers, lower branches and 'tidying' them up. But most of the plants, except for some of those planted on the new rows, are all flowering, if not showing baby tomatoes.
The big thing this past week was the award ceremony with Lady K on Wednesday. Mr. Cobra drove Texter and I down to attend the event. It was nice. All the kids got at least some kind of award. And they sang a couple of songs. Pictures were taken with teachers and then back home.
Summer has definitely arrived. The temperatures have heated up and things are really growing well. I still have a few transplants left to take care of, but for the most part planting is done. Now it's onto maintaining and fertilizing.
Otherwise this week...
- Finished two books and DNF another book
- Wrote 1614 words with 7 posts written
- Walked 23.5 miles - mainly from working in the yard
This week...
- Turing in car to be 'fixed' (sigh)
- Picking up Lady K for the summer with us
- Create the last row in the garden
- Plant or pot up the last of the seedlings
- Stay cool!
But for now, it's more coffee and start tackling my to-do list.
