Week in Review - August 15 - 21, 2022
It's been a LLLOOONNNGGGG week!
I woke up this morning and wondered by I was feeling tired. Well, today is day 7 of a stretch. And unfortunately, my co-worker's son, who is 39 and has some health issues, is having issues and she has been out taking care of him and his 2 teens. So it might expand to be longer.
Anyway...
This past week was back to work after being out for a couple of days due to looks-like-covid illness. But feeling hale and hearty now. I picked up a mosaic starfish I did a couple of weeks ago at the library. And at another branch of the library, I painted a picture of a hibiscus flower. Libraries aren't just for books anymore!
Sent out a couple of letters. One had a couple of skeins of floss and needles to my old stitching buddy.
Between Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon, I picked up Lady K, dropped her off with her mom, then picked her up again Saturday after work for a few hours with me (and Slider) and out to dinner with Texter and Mr. Cobra, before turning her back over to them. Sunday I picked her up after work and took her home to her dad. On the drive there, we discussed out options for 'Weekend with Grandma' coming up for my birthday weekend. I think we settled on Riverbanks Zoo and Garden in Columbia, SC. I want to go to see the garden and her, the zoo.
