Bookish Thursday - What's On My Shelf!

Ok, we will not talk about the shelf full of library books I have to read. Especially since I have a TON of books I have 'won' from Goodreads. I know of a couple more 'free' books coming and another book I will be reviewing for a blog tour in January. 

Now I need to add this stack to my TBR list. Jade War I would like to read soon as it is the second book in a series, especially since Book 1 was a hit for me. 

I just finished Stephen King's latest book, Fairy Tale. Normally, I am not a reader of his books because the ones I have read have scared me too much. I decided to take a chance on this one and I actually listened to the audio book since it was such a huge book. AND I LOVED IT! It wasn't scary or gory, but it was a trip through the basis for our fairy tales we have grown up with. And a dog. Love the dog!

Then there was a quick overnight read of Evanovich's newest Stephanie Plum book, Going Rogue. It is predictable, but don't we sometimes need those comfort reads? 

Finishing those two books was nice as I went through about 3 books which is chunked after about 75 to 100 pages. I have too many books to read to hope they pick up after that many pages. 

Back to my stack of books above, 2 are from two months of Fairy Loot subscription books, their adult fantasy books. One is from Book of the Month. Two I purchased, two I won and one is for a blog review. 

But for now, more of my own writing and less reading!
