Writing Wednesday - I AM Writing!

Well, it's July 2 - the second day into the 'Rough Draft Challenge' and where I really, really want to work on Seven Deadly Murders. Of course, I now have to incorporate a couple of changes into the story. I'm dealing with details from the past coming into the present day. And some major changes to the backstory of the protagonist.

But what kind of challenge would it be if things are being changed up?

Of course, did I write yesterday?

No...instead I was brainstorming a future presentation with a herb society member and having lunch with her. And then starting on the 50 pounds of tomatoes and 5 dozen ears of corn to be processed and canned or frozen for future meals.

But that is over now. It's just peaches to deal with. However, I now have a trip to a farm stand for lunch and peaches with above mentioned friend tomorrow. So less time for writing tomorrow.

And there is also some real 'true crime' to get caught up on - with the Diddy trial having ended with a surprising verdict (in my opinion) and the shock of the Idaho 4 Murder trial ending with a plea deal.

Plus...

My garden is doing down the drain - and not because there is a lot of rain. Just the reverse. I have gotten zero rain as it makes it way past my house. So I am just going to accept the reality and plan on a fall garden.

But expect more updates on writing - in all forms - over the next few weeks. It's too hot to do anything else!
