Seedy Saturday - New Year and a Long List
After pretty much abandoning my yard in 2024, I hope to do much, much better in 2025!
I am optimistic as I managed to keep the jewel orchid going and it put out 3 flowers this summer. It is also on my springtime task list to divide and repot.
I am concentrating on turning my veggie garden into a year-round producer. My asparagus should be ready to harvest this spring. So excited about that.
But it is time to start some seeds. Onions, leeks and slow germinators and growers are first. Figuring out what kind of potatoes I want to plant. Garlic, both hardneck and soft neck, were planted back in October and seem to be doing well.
Another thing I want to do is to add more herbs to my yard and to see how much I can do on the 'cheap'.
Stay tuned for more 'growth'!
