Seedy Saturday - I Give!
I don't mind cool or cold weather. In fact, I love it.
However, once the temperatures start rising, my energy and gardening commitment level go down...
Dramatically!
And as I watch areas around me get rain and it seems to have my address dialed in to 'not rain on', I heave a huge sigh and head back inside to where it is cool.
Please note - my heart goes out to those places where lives and homes have been lost to the over-abundance of rain. I am not making light of those situations.
So I am attempting to find 'pleasure' where I can in the garden.
And this is one...
Blue Butterfly Pea Vine...
Which I am growing to dry and make tea from.
The water on the flower?
Not rain....dew.
And my Roselle (hibiscus) is getting ready to start flowering and I will be collecting that also to dry and make tea from.
In the meantime...
It's Tour de France and quilting!
