Bookish Thursday - October TBR and 'What Else I'm Reading' Plans

In September I posted this picture of some books I was interested in reading.

I did make it through the first two. Well, Masters of Death I did not finish. The Villa I did really enjoy. There were a couple of interesting twists toward the end. I have started Malice House and am listening to another book which seems to be centered around a house, Never Lie.

And after Never Lie, the next book on my audio book shelf is House of Roots and Ruin. Hmmm...The trend of 'house' books seems to be continuing.

Another set of books I want to delve into is Stephen King's latest book, Holly.

However, since Holly is a character which has appeared in previous books, I want to start at the 'first' book, Mr. Mercedes. There are 3 more books and 1 novella where she appears before I can actually read Holly. I don't think I'll complete all those books in October. Actually, I am 99 percent confident I won't get through all of them in October.

In addition, I have 2 more books to read for book blog tours this month. I've finished one and started on book 2 and it will be a priority. Plus, November has 4 books for book blog tours, so my November TBR is already stacking up.

Of course, this does not include all the other books sitting on the shelf to read. I think I am going to put a ban on watching YouTube videos during the last quarter of the year. Along with a TV ban. Maybe. 

In September I read 11 books. So far in October I have already completed 5 books. Two were cookbooks which included a bit of 'story' in each section. One was a reread, so that was quick. One was a novella. But still Day 5 of the month and I have knocked out 5 books! 

But for now, I'm off to read!
