Food and Fiber Friday - Icelandic Wool Cap!

What do you do when a good friend is on vacation in Iceland and shows pictures of the sweater she bought and the interior of the knitting store?

You whine and beg for some wool!

And because she is a tender-hearted and kind person, she comes home with a kit to knit an Icelandic Wool cap! In green, your favorite color. 

I have done very little color work knitting. Especially when I need to carry yarn over several stitches. So far, however, it is going well. Plus, being a cap, it is a nice little project to work on while watching videos. 

Of course, it's turning toward summer here in North Carolina, so wearing a wool cap in hot, humid weather is not something I plan on doing. But when the temperatures start cooling off and it's winter again, I will definitely be wearing it.
