Tuesday Sundries - April Goals
There is basically one goal - PACK!
There is a lot of anticipation this month. Like waiting for my orchid buds to open to their full glory.
Three really big things this month.
- Texter's Capstone Project - her graduation project with her study buddy of 3 years which is a fundraising event for our local humane society.
- Savvy and CJ leaving for their new home in North Carolina.
- My new glasses.
But for me, it will be about winding things up.
- Finish up a couple of projects promised
- Sort and pack, taking unwanted items to Goodwill
- Find a couple of strong backs for a couple of hours of loading the moving van in May
- Sneaking in a couple of day road trips
- Phillipsburg and the Sweet Palace and Gem Mountain
- Freezout Lake
- Packing snacks for Savvy's trip
- Starting to eat mainly out of the cabinets to use up food
- Some final hikes around the hills of Helena
- Try and chill out while doing the above so I don't go crazy!
And all the time I will be mentally planning what will go where in the new house. Since I will have some 'free labor' the week after we arrive, I will finally get the storage unit in Raleigh unloaded. Things have been in storage for 5 years!
But for now, one day at a time.
You have the new house lined up already? How exciting! Moving day is so close. Good luck with all that packing (and with the unpacking).
