Week In Review - April 19 - 25
We haven't broken the news yet to Lady K that she will not be going back to school this 'year'.
Yep, on Friday they announced there will be no school for the rest of the year. She is going to be so upset. And Texter is ready for her to go back to school for many reasons. Neither one of us are built to be stay-at-home moms and homeschoolers!
But that is life these days.

But that is life these days.
So since my days off coincided with taking Lady K to her dad this weekend, I spent the night with Lady K before I took her. And the street light through her window is lovely at night.
In fact, on her way to her dad's on Friday, we stopped by a nursery and picked out some more plants (I picked up a banana pepper and a Goliath tomato) and Lady K got some 'pink' flowers. And then we stopped at Bush-n-Vine to pick up some strawberries and some ice cream 'blendies'. They are so good, but she was said the ability to pick the strawberries ourselves was not allowed.
And because the assistant customer service manager has been off due to a family emergency, work has been crazy this past week. Plus it will continue into the coming week. So I am doing a bit of everything at work over the past week and this coming week.
Mr. Arizona's birthday was this past week. But we didn't have much of a 'celebration'.
I did write 4 letters this week (and 2 more to do). And in the mail I received the following...
This cute little dragon is a bookmark. However, 'she' is on the board over my desk. Miss Oklahoma made it (she is so creative) and sent her to me. I have to say it's a female because she has eyelashes. According to Lady K that is how you can tell characters and cartoons are male or female - females have eyelashes.
Otherwise this week...
- Walked over 5000 steps 5 days
- Wrote 3 posts
- Worked a bit with the Save The Cat software
This coming week...
- Work in the garden and get some more tomatoes planted
- Help Lady K make up her flower pots
- More Queen of the Middle Court writing with the Save the Cat software
- April Review and May Budget set-up
But for now, more coffee and fixing breakfast and a lunch for work.
