Whatever Thursday - Encyclopedia of Me - U, V, W, X, Y, Z

So, here it is, the last of the alphabet and probably the hardest letters to come up with something for. But here it goes and it will mean I actually completed a continuing post.

U

Unique - It has taken me a long, long time to embrace being unique. Ok, different, from most people. At one time it bothered me not to be part of the norm. However, as I have gotten older I find I am embracing being not one of the pack.

V

Vines - I love vines. I love the way they go everywhere and twine around supports and really take over. Wisteria, honeysuckle and even zudzu. I especially love abandoned buildings covered with vines.

W

Water - I enjoy running water - creeks, streams, waterfalls, waves on the beach.

X

X-rays - I have had a few over my six plus decades. But only one broken bone in all of that. Mainly my ankles, but it was my wrist I broke. Go figure.

Y

Yellowstone - I could write volumes on the 'uniqueness' of Yellowstone and how much I love going through it. I am in awe of the space. And would have loved to know what the first humans thought when they saw it.

Yarn - OMG! I could live in a yarn shop. I love the colors and the textures. I love creating with yarn, taking a skein of yarn and turning it into something else. Love me some yarn.

And finally...

Z

Zoo - I have great memories of going to the zoo with the girls as they were growing up, both in North Carolina, Montana and in Texas. And that enjoyment is continuing with Lady K. I won't get involved with all the controversy which can emerge over the ethics of keeping animals in 'cages'. However, in today's world, it might unfortunately be the only way some animals exist. But I love the memories of the days we spent walking around a zoo and watching and learning about the animals.

There you have it, the Encyclopedia of Me!
