Positive Focus Sunday - Sleepovers and Garden Porn

 Friday I was set to drive Lady K down to South Carolina for her weekend with her dad. Early afternoon he texts and states due to a death in the family this past week, he has been asked to be a pallbearer. Plus it seems covid is running rampant in their area. So as a precaution, no Lady K down there.

It's smart. And the thing to do. However, Texter has been in the house with Lady K, homeschooling and the like for over a month now with no break. Plus she had to have an emergency dental run to fix a tooth on Friday morning, so...

Grandma to the rescue.

So while I am resting and being a couch potato on doctor's orders, Lady K has been at my computer and desk for the past 2 days. We have today and Monday to go - no school on Monday. She is so happy to be here it hurts. I think a trip to go pick apples in is order on Monday. 

We ran out on Saturday morning to Farmer's Market (more about that later) and a stop by the library to return and pick up books being held. This 'jewel' was among the books I brought home with me...

My dream - a garden with several of his roses. I went through and made a list of all the roses suitable for containers and also with STRONG fragrance. I have plans! And anyone who thinks a Saturday night, propped up in bed, reading through this book is, well, stupid. You aren't a gardener!
